Safe and friendly environment
At Bizzy Bees, health and safety (H&S) is our top priority! We pay attention to every little detail to ensure that the environment in which our children play and learn is safe and nurturing.
At Bizzy Bees, we ensure H&S through the following:
• High-Quality Toys: Most of our toys are sourced from well-known and reputable quality brands in Europe and the USA (Lego, Melissa & Doug, Kapla, Hape, ELC, Knex, etc.). We ensure that toys are age-appropriate and regularly inspect them for safety.
• Safe Environment: Our environment is secured against any hazards, including protection on electric plugs, gates for stairs, anti-clap devices on doors, and rounded edges on corners.
• Fire Protection: We have fire extinguishers and fire detectors on each level, which are regularly inspected. Our teachers are trained to handle fire emergencies. Regarding prevention, our electrical installations are modern, and all electrical appliances are regularly reviewed and inspected.
• Natural Materials: We strive to use natural furniture, and when a coating layer is needed, we only use natural materials.
• H&S Culture: We maintain a high standard of H&S culture among our employees through clear procedures, visuals, regular training, H&S reviews, safety time (discussing safety hazards or incidents observed at home, on the street, etc.), and founders leading by example.
• Facilities’ Hygiene: Our facilities are cleaned twice daily by dedicated and well-trained employees who have been with Bizzy Bees for a long time. Toys are cleaned once a month.
• Kids’ Hygiene: Our little ones are taught throughout the day about the importance of good hygiene. They learn to wash their hands after using the potty and before eating, brush their teeth, cover their mouth and nose when coughing, avoid putting toys in their mouths, and not share their spoons.
• Mosquito Control: We use mosquito nets for nap time, and indoor facilities are cleaned using citronella extracts that repel mosquitoes. For outdoor areas, our garden contains many plants that act as natural mosquito repellents, and we ensure no stagnant water is present. During risky seasons, kids are offered mosquito repellents when going outdoors.
